IFTDMC Shit Me!

It’s very dry in Australia, particularly in Victoria, down south, we’re not allowed to wash our cars in our yard with our hose, you have to go to a car wash place that recycles the water and do it yourself or go to one where they do it for you. Up north though, in New South Wales, you can wash your car yourself, at your house, as much as you like, they’ve got plenty of water in their dams.

So today, because I’m up north, I washed my current car by hand for the first time ever, and it was a joy because I love my car, it was nice to touch her, run my soapy hands around her curves, making her shiny.

But what it did was allowed me to get close and see all the little dings, scratches, bumps and bashes, and especially it reminded me of the big scratches some IFTDMC (Inconsiderate F*ckers That Damaged My Car) had put on it!

One particularly bad one came from, I think, some moving guys who were moving stuff out of the building across the way from where I worked, we all parked in their arking bays because the building was empty. It’s a big circular scratch. When I discovered it, the curls of paint were still attached, it was that deep. I checked with the car repair place to see if they thought I could polish it out, they said they thought it was too deep. So to repair it will cost about $2000!

It shits me that some people also give no consideration to the opening of their car doors! How often have you come back to yur car and found that some IFTDMC has put a ding in your car dor by opening their door onto yours?

Shopping trolleys are the other bad news.

And then there are the idiots that do it on purpoe and run their key along your door.

To all of you that have done it to us accidentally or on purpose, screw you, you inconsiderate idiots! I hope you drive into a ditch and screw your car up completely, you shit me. You have never had the courtesy of even leaving a note, even if you don’t tell them who you are and offer to pay for the damage, but you at least say “sorry”.
