Don, as an American, I can tell you so much of the political right wing has become infested with small-minded, mean-spirited, racists who wrap themselves in the flag while carrying a crucifix and some form of weaponry (Mac-10s, Uzis, you pick it). They call themselves “Christians” but don’t know the meaning of kindness, consideration, charity or forgiveness. This horse’s ass ( no wait, that’s not fair to the horse) also believed that AIDS was God’s way of punishing gays and that the devastation of New Orleans by hurricanes was God punishing a political & socially liberal city. He’s claimed that an Israeli statesman suffered a stroke because he suggested giving back land to the Palestinians. Nothing and no one is off limits for this clod to attack. He just waits until they’re already down so they can’t fight back. He should pray that God is far more forgiving and less judgemental than he’s been.
